The Latest Round
I can’t believe he’s six weeks old! Here’s a few pictures from the last few days. He’s definitely starting to show some more personality and I love seeing him interact with us more and more. On my end of things, I’m starting to figure life out a little more. This first time mom thing means that I haven’t had much of a clue about how to take care of him, do things like get groceries, do laundry and actually have a shower by the time Mike gets home. Today I got groceries at Kroger and took a little walk with Noah, as well as taking care of some things around the house, and I consider the day a smashing success. At Kroger, I used my Moby wrap- a sling-like wrap that allows me to wrap Noah and ’strap’ him to my chest while I shop. It’s fantastic. Noah loves it and falls asleep almost instantly. It’s a TON easier to manage than a car seat on the cart. Our car seat doesn’t go on top of the cart (it’s a safety thing) and so the only place to put it is in the grocery part of the cart. I’m totally sold on the Moby Wrap. Anyone else have one and love it as much as I do?

I used a ring sling (and now an ergo) but John and Gretchen love their moby wrap. Congratulations on the successful day! I wonder if you have the same carseat as ours because I remember reading that they make it not to fit on top since they think it’s unsafe. Sylvia often had groceries all around her in the cart. Noah looks so much like Michael in that first picture. See you soon.
