What do you think of this? What kind of message are we sending to people?

Erin and I saw that on the news. Love for others? No, thanks! Heck, we are a country of immigrants!

I’m very surprised that this hasn’t been more of an issue with our political correctness and all. But, in their defense…when they get busy…they get busy. And Geno’s is almost always incredibly busy. I can understand how hard it would be for them to provide any level of customer service when you place your order and move on in all of 30 seconds or less.
In fact, there are many signs all around the walls instructing people how to order and exactly what to say to keep the process speedy and very streamline. It’s scary.
It’s kinda soup-nazi-ish. But still.

Not to sound close minded or anything but if somebody that can’t speak English wants to move to America then they need to learn English. If I move to Argentina
then I’m not going to expect everybody to understand me. This isn’t a lack of love for others, it’s just common sense. Until the Government comes out and tells us that we’re no longer an English speaking Country then I’m going to expect people that want to live here to SPEAK ENGLISH!! I still love people that don’t speak English, I’m still going to hire Mike McCammen to translate for me so I can speak to them, but I’m not going to feel bad for them when they refuse to learn English but get upset because people can’t understand them.
Going to a Dog Park and telling them to not poop on the grass doesn’t mean anything because the dogs can’t understand you. We’re in their territory now, we’ve gotta either bark at em and wag our tail, or LEAVE THE DOG PARK. (OK so this was a dumb example)
I wanna be like Mike,
Jon
