Mike’s Birthday Chicken Enchiladas
Disclaimer: They aren't authentic, but they are good! And the list of ingredients may be long, but it's mostly spices you probably have around the house.

1 onion, chopped
1/2 pint sour cream
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon dried parsley

Stick Fire
Sometimes date night on a strict budget means stick fires. Tonight Emily and I made a fire out of some random sticks in the yard and roasted marshmallows out on the deck. Good times.
Emily also made cinnamon rolls for me to take to work tomorrow. They look (and tasted!) fantastic. Get on her good […]

The Most Amazing Night of the Year
Mike and I have put out a request to many of our Columbus area friends and believers for help for a refugee family that he knows. They told him of a young girl in their family who is to have her baby any time now, and they have nothing (NOTHING) for the baby. They are […]

Success!
Tonight Emily and I finished our project of adding some element of shade to our deck. The material is straight from Argentina and is called media sombra, or half-shade. Half-shade is definitely better than no shade! Anyway, we are pretty pleased with our work. Check it out.
We also had a fantastic time tonight […]

We flew in last night […]

Friday night we had small group and Emily made an amazing cake to share with everyone.
On Saturday Wade and Sharon came down and spent the day with us. Emily made some killer enchiladas […]

In Case of…
Mike and I took our bikes (that we bought last year) to Dick's Sporting Goods for an annual (free with extended warranty) tune-up. Completely frustrating and very typical Dick's experience aside, Mike and I learned the following about our "Dick's No-Sweat Warranty". It covers wear and tear and problems related to materials/workmanship, or […]

Clippers
Last night we went to a Clippers game- our first. It was great- despite the freezing cold weather and minimally interesting baseball. We left at 10pm (it started at 7:30) and they were still in the 6th. They were murdered by the other team after we left. We went to the […]
