Sick as a Dog
I've never really understood that phrase…
Some people are like Marines- they tough it out and you'd never know they were sick. I, on the other hand, require much sympathy and babying. I don't know if that's a poor character quality or not. I have a nasty resp flu/cold, and I spent all day in bed. Mike made me enchiladas for dinner. HE is amazing. Oh, and got me Cheezits and flowers. The Cheezits were requested because, well, when you are sick, you do not want to eat salad and other healthy things. You want transfats and sodium.
Anyway, I feel miserable, and because of the aforementioned allergy test coming up, I can take no antihistimines, so I'm left with fewer choices in meds (Erin, Dan, any ideas?) When we got this blog I promised to myself not to let it become 1) a place when I blog the things I wouldn't bore a real live person (…and then i ate a nice roast beef sandwich and folded laundry and plucked my eyebrows and isn't Miley Cyrus cute?) or 2) discuss every ache, pain, and ailment that comes cross me, and 3) whine about the state of my life and why everybody hates me, as can be popular with others at times. So having posted a nasty cold update, I leave you with this question, the Mike asked me last night:
What could cause a coup in the great USA? Is there anything that would actually cause one to really happen? Mike has an idea, though I don't know if he's right…

I was actually thinking about the coup thing the other day while listening to the radio. I haven’t really formed a whole thought yet though. What does Mike say would make it happen?

I hate to even write this… but Mike says that if Barack Obama became president and then declared himself a devout Muslim, people would revolt. Hmmm. I know many in my neck of the woods in small town Ohio would!
