Full Circle

Chris Webber has announced that he is returning to the Golden State Warriors. I am extremely giddy. I think that Golden State should play the rest of the year with their 1993 jerseys in honor of the last time Nellie and Webber were together. Let's just hope that they get along better next time. Leave me a comment and let me know if you think this makes the Warriors better, worse or no difference. I think it makes them better…by a lot.

Much to Kevin’s dismay I am not into sports much. I mean I pay attention enough to know what’s going on, although it is completely different living here without a television and all, but this brings back good old memories of the days when I actually did follow basketball. I have no idea what, if any, impact this will have on the Warriors, but it does bring back happy memories! So it must be a good thing…right?!

Thanks for the love and prayers! We are always excited to hear about your continued plans as well. The pictures of your trip back home were awesome!

Hmm…it really depends on which Webber they get. If they get the fab five college Webber they’ll win it all…I mean, they’ll call a timeout in game 7 of the finals to lose (but that’s pretty good). If they get 1993 “right out of college” Webber then they’ll be great. If they get the Bullets/Wizards version they’ll be ok. If they get the early years Sac-Town Webber, they’ll be great. If they get the Philadelphia 76ers version, they’ll be lazy, crappy and sorry for signing him. If they get the Pistons version they’ll be better and inspired.

You never know what you’ll get with Mr. Webber. Maybe they should bring back Timmy Hardaway and Chris Mullin, sprinkle in a little Latrell Sprewell and some Billy Owens and they’ll be in business. Man, I loved the Warriors back in the day…I even had a Warriors ball cap. Mmm.

Yeah, I think if they get the 1993 Webber they’ll be better. He just isn’t the player that he used to be.

For the sake of great basketball I really hope that he is the Webber of the Pistons (let’s be real…Sac-Town Webber ain’t coming back). A solid veteran to provide some leadership, energy off the bench and height in the middle. I love Nellie ball and loved watching the Warriors take down the Mavs last year. I hope Webber has some gas left in the tank, if nothing else than to make the West interesting.

Though I have always hated the school from up north, i have always been a Chris Webber fan. I think people get on guys to much when they don’t produce like the did when they were younger. Most people don’t understand what toll it takes on your body to play for that many years at that level. I would take Webber at any age. He knows the game and can help out the youg guys
