Family Pictures
Since we were celebrating Christmas early with the Bowers family this weekend, Grandma Bowers asked me to do some some family pictures. Everybody was going to be here, including Matt who lives in Gibraltar.
Of course I was happy to oblige. I talked to a friend of mine who has been in the photography business for years and asked him for some tips. What I ended up with was a little more than just tips. He loaned me his Fuji S2 Pro, with an external flash and bracket. I've spent the whole weekend in heaven, playing with my borrowed toy. It's amazing. I don't know how I'll go back to my Panasonic FZ50, but I do know that I will be buying a new flash for it very soon.
Anyway, the photos turned out really well. Click the thumbnail to see my first foray into portrait photography.

Feel free to donate that antiquated FZ50 to a worthy cause (me). It IS the Christmas season after all.
Nice pix.
