Shoes for kids
My friend Colleen is going to Kenya at the end of the month to visit a bunch of different organizations and ministries. One of the places she is going to visit is the Mother Theresa Home for Street Children, which provides housing for 26 children who otherwise would be on the streets. Her goal is to take one pair of shoes to each child there. Here is what she has to say:
"So this is my request of you: HELP BY SPONSORING A PAIR OF SHOES!! There are 26 kids in need of shoes: 17 boys, 6 girls ages 4-10 years. I am asking you to either purchase a pair of new athletic shoes of your choice or to make a $25 donation."
I thought I would throw this out to all (4) of you who read this blog with the hope maybe a few of you would like to help out with this. She is leaving a week from today. If you would like to help you can shoot me an email or give me a call. If you don't live in the Columbus area you can send me the money via paypal and I will make sure Colleen gets it.
Thanks, guys!

Hey Mike,
You’ve got some cool stuff in here. Keep doing this. It’s a nice blog. I really liked it.
Bytheway, you have not updated it since your promotion. Drop us a line about the added responsibility of managing community development programs. Thanks.
Jibril
